During 2009, The Rivelin underwent an extensive £500,000 redevelopment programme which refurbished the whole home creating a warm and comfortable environment with a range of high quality facilities. This includes tastefully decorated rooms , many of which are en-suite, plenty of comfortable social areas and a secure outside terrace area with seating. The home is spread over three floors which can all be accessed by a passenger lift.
We are continuing with our rolling improvements and our most recent projects have included refurbishment of the dining rooms, making the activity room more accessible and taking our steps to make level floors.
We encourage you to bring in your treasured possessions from home helping to decorate your room with your favourite ornaments and photos.
Tasty, nutritious food is essential to your good health and all our food is prepared on site by our chef using high quality, locally sourced produce. As well as breakfast, lunch and dinner, we also provide a mid morning snack and afternoon tea and fresh fruit and fresh water are always available.
Our chef will discuss your likes and dislikes and also any specialist dietary requirements you may have. Our comfortable dining room is a great pace to socialise over your meal, but if you prefer you can also take your meals in your room.
